Why is PassPorter going on a Mediterranean scouting cruise?

Because it's there!

Well... Disney Cruise Line is sending the Magic to the Mediterranean in 2007. Since we've never been on a Mediterranean cruise, and we're committed to providing complete port-of-call coverage to every place Disney cruises (even the "Special" itineraries - ours is the only guidebook that does that), we needed to put a bit of experience under our belts. While we will be sailing the Mediterranean in 2007 with Disney, that trip won't give us (and you) the high-quality, advance knowledge you'll need for planning your own DCL Mediterranean voyage.

This will also be our first cruise on a Royal Caribbean ship, and that experience enriches our coverage of DCL in many other ways.
