 I never went to Walt Disney World as a kid, so when my girlfriend proposed going for a weekend, I wasn't very excited. But when she mentioned we'd be there during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, I figured, why not? And I got hooked! In May of 2008, we got engaged at the Magic Kingdom during the Wishes fireworks show. Since we'd had many special moments at Walt Disney World, we decided to have our wedding there too. "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) Tickets and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) tickets are on sale now. Here are the dates:
MNSSHP: September 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30, and October 1, 3, 7, 8, 11, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29*, 31*, and November 1, 2010. Prices for advance purchase tickets are $53.95 plus tax per adult, $47.95 plus tax per child (ages 3 - 9), tickets purchased at the door are $59.95 plus tax per adult, and $53.95 per child (ages 3-9). Dates in bold do not have an advance purchase discount. Dates marked with a * are at a higher price - $64.95 per adult, $58.95 per child (ages 3-9).
MVMCP: November 8, 11, 12, 16, 18, 19, 28, 30 and December 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12, 14, and 16, 17, and 19, 2010. Locker Love
"Don't forget about how convenient the park lockers can be! Pack anything you might need throughout the day (frozen bottle of water, jacket for the evening, spare glasses for contacts wearers, sunblock, poncho in case of rain, tripod for photos of fireworks, etc), then shove it all in a locker when you get to the park. You can make as many trips back to the locker as you need without having to haul all of your stuff around for the entire day."
