Think of IT'SUGAR as a hipper, edgier version of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. This larger-than-life candy shop features just about every candy you can imagine!

Like its sister location at the Downtown Disney Disrict (see page 228), this popular chain shop sells healthy smoothies and juices, along with energy bowls, specialty oatmeal bowls, baked goods, and snacks.  

If you're looking for a good place to catch a game on TV at CityWalk, this burger chain/sports bar is a solid option. They serve standard burgers, sandwiches, malts, and a full bar. They also offer a complimentary photo taken at your table (with the option to purchase more, of course).  

We know you're familiar with these fast food chains, but they offer a quick, cheap, and predictable option inside CityWalk.   

Raise your beer stein and toast one of the largest beer towers of Southern California. The draws here are the 10 handcrafted beers on tap. You’ll need to eat, too, and their menu includes items like specialty mac and cheeses and beer-brined pork chops. Try a cask-tapping party every Thursday at 5:00 pm. Great Happy Hour deals from 3-6pm Monday through Friday. 

LudoBird opened at CityWalk in early 2016. This French-style chicken restaurant bills itself as "not your mother's fried chicken", specializing in buttermilk Provencale fried chicken, with creative sauces such as Bearnaise, piquillo pepper, and of course, ranch.

This chain eatery serves Chinese-American fare with old standbys like Mandarin chicken, sweet and sour pork, egg rolls, and fried rice. Kids menu available.

Popcornopolis specializes in gourmet popcorn served in cone-shaped bags. This is the best place for caramel corn—it stays fresh for six months, even after opening and resealing.

Yee-haw! This huge lodge just outside Universal’s park gates has all you’d expect from a tinseltown version of a Texas chop house: mechanical bulls, big dance floor, large TV screens, and an outdoor patio with campfire pits. Brunch is served daily (try the Johnny Appleseed Pancakes), along with lunch and dinner. More info at the restaurant's website.
