A new eatery is coming to Downtown Disney in winter 2018! This burger and beer joint will be set in a casual atmosphere reminiscent of a classic American luncheonette, but with a distinctly New York vibe. Black Tap’s menu will include burgers ranging from the classic All-American to The Vegan Burger. In addition, their specialty “CrazyShakes” will boast whimsical and over-the-top decorations and flavors, such as The Cotton Candy Shake and The Bam Bam Shake. Construction is scheduled to begin soon, across from Catal Restaurant and Uva Bar. |

An exceptional upscale dining experience featuring Chef Joachim Splichal that specializes in wines paired with appetizers such as bacon-wrapped dates ($11.00) and tuna crudo ($16.00). Large full-course meals are also available—entrees include suckling pig ($30.00) and Catalan seafood stew ($32.00). An elegant location for a special evening out. Catal is short for Catalonia, a region in Spain. Two private rooms are available for special events—the Rotunda Room seats 40 and the Picola Room seats 20. The more casual Uva Bar out in the plaza (see page 229) is a nice place to wait for your table. For more information, menus, and online reservations, visit Catal's website. |

Enjoy your eats while bowling, or just dine at a table and watch—either way this is a fun, if noisy, place to enjoy a meal. Typical American pub food such as loaded fries ($12) and pizza ($14–$18) join other offerings such as California roll ($11), barbecue chicken salad ($15) and mahi mahi with voodoo shrimp ($26). Kids meals are $7–$8. If you want to bowl while you eat, it’s $17–$22/person for 90 minutes (arrive before 4:00 pm for better deals)—but remember, you’re on the clock if you eat while you bowl! This location was scheduled to open on January 29, 2018, but it's opening has been delayed to an as-yet-unspecified date. |
