    Silly Symphony Swings [G-3]

Disney California Adventure - Silly Symphony Swings
Flying high!
by DopeyGirl

Re-designed and re-imagined from its former life as Orange Stinger, Silly Symphony Swings spins you around and up and down, as Mickey (unseen) conducts the William Tell Overture (which many think of as the Lone Ranger theme), reminiscent of his 1935 cartoon short "The Band Concert." The swings rise and swing outward as the music reaches its crescendo, then gently float back down to earth. Fairly tame but exhilarating nonetheless, this ride may be problematic for people with motion sickness or height issues. Guests between 40 and 48 inches tall must ride in a tandem swing with "a responsible person."  The swings aren't very wide, so Pooh-sized riders might find it a tight squeeze, or not fit at all. Rider switch. Guests must transfer from ECV/wheelchair to ride.

Height restriction: 40" / 102 cm

    The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure [F-4]      A-OK!

California Adventure--Paradise Pier--Little Mermaid--Ursula 2
Keep singing!
by GingerJ

Enter Prince Eric's Castle and go under the sea to visit Ariel and her friends. Board your two- to three-person Omnimover clamshell to be immersed in favorite scenes and music from the beloved film. Ariel, Eric, Sebastian, Scuttle, and evil Ursula are brought to Audio-Animatronic "life" using classic techniques and innovative lighting. The ride is identical to Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid at the Magic Kingdom, though the queues are different. Some dark and scary moments. Must transfer from ECV to wheelchair. Audio description. Handheld captioning.
