![]() Pacific Wharf recreates the old Cannery Rows of California port cities. by GingerJ A recreation of old Cannery Rows in such port cities as San Francisco and San Diego, Pacific Wharf is mostly known for its restaurants. It's also one of the only two places we know of where you get free food at Disney! Cast Members at Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shops (see 1377) hand out samples of chocolates, and you can usually get a taste of sourdough bread at The Bakery Tour - Hosted by Boudin Bakery. Mission Tortilla Factory previously occupied the building which now houses Ghirardelli, but the days of free, fresh hot tortillas are over, alas. But now there's free chocolate! |
Ever heard of that famous San Francisco sourdough bread? Visit a working bakery where real, soft, sourdough bread is being made with the Boudin family secret recipe. Rosie O'Donnell and Colin Mochrie (from "Whose Line Is It Anyway?") entertain guests in a funny video filled with information on the modern method of baking bread and baking tips. Guests may receive a free sample of bread (subject to availability). If you like the bread, you can purchase a loaf nearby. Wheelchair accessible. Closed captioning. |
