The Guest Relations window—which serves the entire Disneyland Resort—is located to the left of the entrance. You can reach it both before you go through the turnstiles and once you’re in the park. As you’re facing the entrance to the park, it’s on the left side. As you walk through the entrance plaza, look for the Tip Board across from Carthay Circle Restaurant. This Tip Board is updated throughout the day with information on attractions and wait times. Entrance plaza shops are open for 30 minutes after park closing. Watch for fun “streetmosphere” entertainment in the park during the summer—these impromptu shows are always worth the time. Paradise Pier, with its lights reflecting off Paradise Bay, is enchanting in the evenings. Be sure to take a stroll around it if time allows. If you're there at sunset, you may catch the neon lights coming on in Cars Land—it's a magical sight. |
NOTES You can rent strollers and wheelchairs to the right of the Disneyland Park entrance, across the Esplanade from Disney California Adventure (see page 85). Lockers are available outside the park (to the left of the entrance), on Buena Vista Street, and at Grizzly River Run. The First Aid Center is on the left after you enter the park, in the Chamber of Commerce building (see page 85). However, the Baby Care Center is a bit harder to find when you’re in a hurry. If you think you’ll need it, find its location now on the park map on page 122, just behind Ghirardelli in Pacific Wharf. You may have heard negative comments about this park, and claims you only need a half-day to do everything. Don’t believe everything you hear. We can’t do everything in a full day ourselves, and we’re extremely experienced theme park veterans. This park offers plenty of delightful attractions, shows, and restaurants to completely fill an entire day. We feel the real problem is that Disney California Adventure's round-up of attractions seems shorter when compared to the packed Disneyland Park across the way—but why wouldn't it, when it is almost 50 years younger? You really need more than two days to do Disneyland Park, which means at least two days’ worth of admission and, now with crowds speedwalking at ropedrop for FASTPASSes for World of Color and Radiator Springs Racers, you're likely to need two days at Disney California Adventure, as well! |
