Enchanted Tiki Room [D-5] A-OK! |
|
A perfectly cool place to sit and rest while 225 Audio-Animatronics birds, flowers, and other creatures sing and cavort above you. The Tiki Room has been a Disney fixture for many childhoods and was the first attraction to feature Audio-Animatronics when it opened in 1963. This is a fun musical revue, which grew from Walt Disney’s notion for an unusual Chinese restaurant called The Bird Cafe. Don’t miss the delightful tiki gods in the outdoor garden before the show and grab a Dole Whip to enjoy while you watch! Tip: You'll find a much shorter line for the Dole Whips inside the Tiki Room garden. Tip #2: the Tiki Room waiting area has rest rooms with no lines. Best views are on the left side. Bench seating. May remain in wheelchair and ECV. |

Enter the Temple of the Forbidden Eye for a rollicking, fast-paced adventure, Indiana Jones-style! The very long but delightfully themed queue is mostly indoors and snakes through an archeological dig—for some fun, push lightly on the spike holding up the ceiling, and pull on the rope going into the well. Eventually you board 12-person “troop transport” vehicles and head off in search of Indiana Jones. Along the way, you’ll bounce and jostle, encountering mummies, fires, lava, “poison darts,” rats, failing bridges, and, yes, snakes (“oh, why does it have to be snakes?”). Lines can be very long, so plan to ride early in the day, use a FASTPASS, or take advantage of the Single Rider line to avoid a significant wait. Kids under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult. Rider swap available. Health warning. Must transfer from wheelchair. Video captioning. Height restriction: 46" / 117 cm

Note: Disneyland is making some changes to Adventureland in order to improve the flow of guest traffic. South Seas Traders and the Indiana Jones Outpost stores will close permanently, and those spaces will become seating for Bengal Barbecue. The fruit stand next to the Jungle Cruise will become stroller parking. This will free up more walkway space in this crowded section of the park. |
