Pirate Shores is a great place to cool off on a hot day, particularly if you don't have admission to the water parks. With the exception of Captain Cranky's Challenge, all of the attractions in Pirate Shores are designed to get visitors very wet, so if you are not a fan of wet clothing, plan to bring extra clothes, a towel, or swimsuits for the kids. LEGOLAND also offers Family Dryers for $5, which allows your whole family to climb inside and get a very effective full-body blow dry. |
Time to find your sea legs! Board this pirate ship that swings back and forth AND spins for a relatively wild ride. It's not scary, but guests prone to motion sickness should skip this one. Height restriction: 42" / 107 cm to ride alone (34" / 86 cm to ride with a responsible adult)

All aboard these buccanneer-filled boats, which sail down a 25-foot flume ending with a big splash. Beware: you will get completely soaked on this ride (we're not kidding), so don't ride unless you're prepared for the dousing. This attraction is accessible from both the water parks and the main theme park. Reserve 'N' Ride is available. Height restriction: 42" / 107 cm to ride alone (36" / 91 cm to ride with a responsible adult)

The battle is on! Board your own ship and navigate through through pirate-infested waters. Aim your water cannons at other boats and spectators, but watch out: non-riders can shoot water cannons at passengers, too! This attraction is as much fun for the spectators/squirters as it is for the riders. Reserve 'N' Ride is available. Height restriction: 44" / 112 cm to ride alone (36" / 91 cm to ride with a responsible adult)
