BEST LOCATIONS

In our opinion, the rooms with views of Disney California Adventure are well worth the extra money. The day and night views of Disney California Adventure are the most magical of any Disney hotel. Otherwise, you just end up overlooking the pool and the city smog. Upper-level park views are the best—we loved our room on the 9th floor. If you can’t afford the extra up front for the park view, inquire about an upgrade when you check in. If you expect to use the pool often, consider one of the concierge rooms with a patio on the 3rd floor. These are the only rooms with patios and they’re great when you’re hanging out at the pool. Like the Disneyland Hotel, Paradise Pier has one-bedroom suites—if you’re just looking for extra space for the kids, consider getting two connecting rooms instead and save some money. The concierge rooms on the 14th and 15th floors offer the best views—you can see for miles on a clear day.
