Behind the Seeds: A Special Guided Greenhouse Tour—This one-hour walking tour delves deeper into the innovative greenhouses seen in the Living With the Land exhibit at Epcot. Cost is $20–$25/adult and $16–$20/child age 3–9 (no minimum age), 13 people max. per tour. Park admission to Epcot is required. Sign up at the counter outside Soarin’ (in The Land) or call 407-WDW-TOUR. Tours leave every 45 minutes between 10:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Dolphins in Depth—This unique three-hour program highlights the dolphin research at The Seas with Nemo & Friends in Epcot. Guests play an active part in the research as they learn about dolphin behavior. Guests must be 13 or older, and 13- to 17-year-olds must be with a participating adult. Offered on Tuesdays–Saturdays beginning at 9:45 am. Cost is $199/person and includes a photo, soda, and souvenir T-shirt. Dolphin interaction is not guaranteed. Epcot Divequest—Open Water SCUBA-certified divers ages 10 and older can dive the 6-million-gallon pool at The Seas with Nemo & Friends (guests 10–12 must be with a participating adult). The 3-hour program includes a presentation on marine research and conservation. Divers suit up and are guided in small groups for a 40-minute dive. The cost includes use of gear, refreshments, a certificate, a dive log stamp, and a shirt. Proof of certification must be shown and divers have to sign medical and legal waivers. Dives are Tuesdays–Saturdays at 4:30 and 5:30 pm. Cost is $179/person. Park admission to Epcot is not required. For reservations call 407-WDW-TOUR (407-939-8687).

Epcot Seas Aqua Tour—A 2½-hour SNUBA-assisted snorkel that takes place in The Seas with Nemo & Friends. You do not need to be SCUBA certified; equipment and instructions are provided. Actual snorkel time is 30 minutes. Offered Tuesdays–Saturdays at 12:30 pm for guests ages 8 and up (8- to 12-year-olds must be with an adult). Cost is $145 and includes use of gear, a backpack, and a group photo. Park admission not required. For reservations call 407-WDW-TOUR (407-939-8687).

Typhoon Lagoon Learn-to-Surf Program—The Learn-to-Surf program at Typhoon Lagoon water park teaches guests surfing basics. Learn on dry land for the first half-hour, then try your new skills on the big waves in the park’s huge wave pool for the remaining two hours. The 2½-hour class is currently offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 5:45 am, though starting time varies with park operating hours (class is held before the park opens). Class is open to resort guests ages 8 and up who are strong swimmers. Cost is $165/person, and park admission is not required. Call 407-WDW-PLAY for reservations.
