Honeymoons—Walt Disney World is the #1 honeymoon destination in the world, believe it or not. Not only are romantic spots found around virtually every corner, but Disney goes out of its way to make newlyweds welcome. Lodging packages, romantic rooms, candlelit dinners, and adult-oriented entertainment abound. Even if you do nothing more than mention that it is your honeymoon to cast members, you may be in for a special treat. For details, call Disney at 407-934-7639.

Anniversaries—Like birthdays, anniversaries are always in style at the Walt Disney World Resort. You can get free “Happy Anniversary” buttons to wear—ask about them at Guest Relations or your resort front desk. You can plan a special night out at a romantic restaurant or shape an entire vacation around your special day. Be sure to mention your anniversary when making advance dining reservations (especially at Cinderella’s Royal Table)—you may be pleasantly surprised.

Group Events—With all the conventions it hosts each year, Disney is a pro at group parties and functions. We’ve planned several ourselves and found plenty of options and many helpful cast members. You can have a private party virtually anywhere in the “World,” for small or large groups. For parties in any of the resorts, call 407-828-3074. If you’re interested in having a private party at one of the parks, call Group Sales at 407-828-3200. We can’t say it’ll be cheap, but you can plan one within a reasonable budget if you’re careful. Of course, you can go all-out, too—companies rent entire theme parks. Planet Hollywood at Disney Springs hosts private functions, too. In fact, PassPorter readers like to plan gatherings of like-minded individuals. If you’d like to learn about our next gathering, visit http://www.passporterboards.com/forums/backyard-gatherings-meets-group-trips.
