BOARDWALK RESORT RESTAURANTS |
No, you won’t see Brewmaster Mickey, but this brewpub chain is a popular family dining spot at the BoardWalk (ESPN Club seems to siphon off the rowdier drinking crowd). Choices range from chicken quesadilla ($10.50) to a grilled chicken cashew salad ($12.99), barbecue pork sandwich ($9.99, lunch only), burgers ($10.99–$14.50), or meatloaf ($14.99). Steaks and ribs are also plentiful ($22.99–$25.99). The decor and seating are simple—we suggest you dine outdoors on the boardwalk in good weather. Our most recent visit was disappointing, with lackluster service, mediocre food, and a dirty floor. They do take reservations 24 hours in advance as well as reservations on the same day at 407-560-0253. You can also book reservations for this restaurant on OpenTable.com. |

100 TVs pipe the big games into every nook and cranny of this very popular (and loud) sports bar. You can even go on camera for a live sports trivia quiz. The lineup is familiar—wings ($13), nachos ($15), burgers and sandwiches ($14–$18), or try a bourbon pecan brownie ($8), plus beer and mixed drinks. Sit at booths or on stools. This eatery is very busy during any sport playoff as well as Sunday afternoons. No reservations. |

Flying Fish D $82 |
|
Reopened in August 2016 after an extensive renovation of the interior and on-stage kitchen, this is a Disney dining hot spot and one of our favorites, serving uniquely prepared, fresh seafood in a trendy-but-fun atmosphere. The menu changes to suit the season and the catch. We've seen blue crab bisque ($15), kurobuta pork belly ($13), Maine lobster nero pasta ($59), waguy filet mignon ($55), and Hokkaido scallops ($43). Kids meals are $13–$16 and include corn-battered rock shrimp, flying fish and chips, and Mickey Pasta. The crowds here are loud—ask for a quieter table in the back. Open to 10:30 on Fri. and Sat. Dress code is “business casual” (see page 228). You can also book reservations for this restaurant on OpenTable.com. |

This bustling eatery features classic Italian cuisine with housemade mozzarella, fresh cavatelli pasta, and wood-burning oven-fired pizzas. Dinner menu items include Caprese salad ($9.99), cured Italian meats ($16), Margherita pizza ($17), baked lasagna ($19), chicken parmigiana ($22), tiramisu ($8), and zeppoli (fried dough) ($7). Breakfast is also served, and includes items like vanilla-blueberry oatmeal ($7), veggie frittata ($14), scrambled eggs with breakfast potatoes and choice of bacon or chicken sausage ($13), poached eggs served over soft polenta ($13), and a breakfast pizza ($14). Formerly Kouzina by Cat Cora. Look for a new "Royal Couples" character breakfast here in late spring 2017 with characters from Tangled (Rapunzel and Flynn Rider) and The Little Mermaid (Ariel and Prince Eric)! |
