Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Eager to sample more international cuisine and exotic tastes? Visit the “World” in autumn, when Epcot hosts the International Food and Wine Festival. Just stroll around the World Showcase Promenade and sample food and drink at more than 25 booths. The generously sized appetizer treats range in price from $3.25 to $9.49, while small plastic glasses of wine, beer, champagne, cognac, and port begin at $4 and go up from there. Guests on the Disney Dining Plan can use their snack credits for many of the food items. You can easily make a meal out of the offerings, stopping at booths whenever you discover another appetizing snack. Eating while strolling around isn’t always the most relaxing, but there are plenty of benches and quiet nooks at which to munch away. In addition to the treats, you can watch cooking demonstrations by top chefs, participate in beer and wine seminars and tastings, and attend the Eat to the Beat concert series at the America Gardens Theater (no extra charge). With advance reservations, you can join special wine tasting events ($95–$150), a Party for the Senses (a $169–$329 wine-sipping and food-sampling extravaganza), seminars ($89), boot camps ($129), and one-hour Food and Wine Pairings ($65–$150). The 23rd annual festival is from August 30 to November 12, 2018 (that's a record 75 days long!) and it will have 35 food booths (the largest ever!). For more information, call 407-WDW-INFO. The Eat to the Beat Concert Series is held nightly in the America Gardens Theater during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. The current line-up (schedule subject to change): |
