Chinese food at Epcot leaves a bit to be desired, and what for a while was an interesting menu has been dumbed-down. Start with pot stickers ($5.25) or egg rolls ($3.99). Main course choices are orange chicken, beef noodle soup, beef rice bowl, and shrimp fried rice (each $9.99), Hong Kong-style curry ($11.95), and sesame chicken salad ($7.95). Desserts are $3.50. Kids’ meal (sweet and sour chicken) is $7.95. Indoor and covered outdoor seating. |

Enjoy exotic food in an authentic Moroccan setting as modest belly dancers and live musicians lend even more atmosphere. Lamb and chicken are the backbone of the cuisine, either roasted or stewed ($27.99). The flaky pastry-based appetizers ($6.99–$10.99) are a must, especially the chicken bastilla ($9.99)—this is one of Jennifer’s all-time favorite foods in the World! If you’ve always wanted to try couscous, the Moroccan national dish of stewed meat and/or vegetables over steamed semolina, you’ll find it is quite good here ($21.99–$23.99). Prices are a few dollars less at lunch. Plan to sample a variety of appetizers and desserts (desserts $5.95–$8.95). The kids’ menu offers “Moroccan” pasta with meatballs, chicken tenders, and kefta (hamburger) with fries ($7.99). |

Nine Dragons has improved the variety and adventure on its menu. Many regions of China are represented by familiar and unusual menu items. Appetizers ($5-$13) include pot stickers, steamed buns, and shrimp and taro lollipops. Main courses ($16-$26) include fried rice, sweet and sour pork, stir-fried veggies, kung pao chicken, fragrant five-spiced fish, and Chinese chicken salad. Lunch choices are similar but prices are a few dollars less and you could create a dim sum-style meal from the appetizers. Kids’ entrees (sweet & sour shrimp, honey chicken, or shrimp and chicken) are $7.98-$10.98. |
