This popular thrill ride takes guests on a rickety tea plantation train up and into 199-foot-tall Forbidden Mountain on the way to Mount Everest. Once inside the chilly mountain interior, you’ll have a startling encounter with the fearsome Yeti—part god, part beast—and the largest and most complex Audio-Animatronics figure ever built. Banished, you’ll hurtle through darkness and even ride backward. The coaster has several steep drops and sharp turns, and some parts are very intense. The incredibly detailed queue snakes through a Himalayan village filled with artifacts, a museum, and a Yeti shrine. Single rider line available. 44”/112 cm. height restriction. Health warning. Must transfer from wheelchair to ride. Height restriction: 44" / 112 cm

UP! A Great Bird Adventure (was Flights of Wonder) [D-2] A-OK! |
|
This attraction is closing December 31, 2017 to make way for a new show which will feature Russell and Dug from the Disney Pixar film "Up" as they discover new bird species from around the globe. The new show opens April 22. Duck! Owls or hawks may fly right above your head during a show starring more than 20 species of free-flying exotic birds and their talented animal handlers. Guano Joe (or Jane), a tour guide from Anandapur Tours, adds some comic relief to this conservation-themed show. Guests are selected from the audience to join in the action. Afterward, everyone has a chance to come down to ask questions, view the “stars” up close, and take photos. Sit near the aisles for the closest animal encounters. Outdoor, shaded theater. Outdoor queue is uncovered. Theater opens 15 minutes beforehand. No food or drink allowed. Leave strollers at the door. Wheelchair accessible. Assistive listening. Allie’s KidTip: “Volunteer to go on the stage! I’m too shy to do it, but it looks like fun.” |
