Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular [D-5] |
|
The Indiana Jones films set the stage for an action show of epic proportions. Disney has built a huge indoor/ outdoor set to demonstrate the stuntperson’s craft, including the famous rolling boulder, an Egyptian marketplace, and a flaming German airplane. Adults may be picked to join the show—arrive early and show enthusiasm if this interests you. Theater opens 25 minutes before the show and guests sit in a covered, outdoor theater. Loud explosions and hot flames may scare young children. Wheelchair accessible. Assistive listening. Rumored to be closing (see page 173). |

The First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration [C-4] |
|
Fans of Disney’s Frozen enjoy this heartwarming show narrated by the funny Arendelle historians. Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff appear onstage during this retelling of the popular tale. The audience is encouraged to sing along to every song from the movie (lyrics are shown on big screens). Jennifer really enjoyed the show even though when it comes to Frozen she’s ready to let it go already. Snow and lighting effects. Wheelchair and ECV accessible. In the Hyperion Theater. |

Take a flight to a galaxy far, far away in this “must ride” for all Star Wars fans, fully updated in 2011! The enhanced flight simulator at the heart of this ride never really goes anywhere, but thanks to high-definition video and a Disney Real-D 3D screen, you’ll find it hard to believe as your StarSpeeder 1000 dives, banks, and speeds about. In the new story, C-3PO and R2-D2 take you on a wild ride with a “rebel” spy aboard—but where you fly and with whom you meet changes with each ride! There are 54 random storylines you can experience, visiting anywhere from Tatooine to Naboo and meeting anyone from Princess Leia to Yoda. You’ll want to ride this again and again! Star Tours is getting a new sequence, with footage from "Star Wars: The Last Jedi." The new sequence will debut on both parks on November 17, 2017, almost a full month before the movie opens. The attraction has an indoor queue with many visual delights. Overflow queue outdoors is uncovered. 40”/102 cm height restriction. Young kids should be with an adult. Health warning. Guests must transfer from ECV to wheelchair, and from wheelchair to ride. Closed captioning. Nonmoving rides may be available for the ECV-bound and motion-sensitive— ask a cast member. Allie’s KidTip: “This is good, but hold on tight!” TeenTip: “The back seats really are the best.” Height restriction: 40" / 102 cm
