TOURING NOTES Epcot is so large it’s really difficult to do in one day, and we don’t recommend it if at all possible. We recognize that many families may only have one day for Epcot, however, so we’re sharing our best, one-day touring plan (which assumes entry by 9:00 am). If you can enter earlier, spend that extra time in Future World. Those lucky enough to have more time to spend at Epcot probably don’t need a touring plan at all. But if you’d like to use ours anyway, you can easily split Future World and World Showcase into two days—just add in all the optional attractions and plan to sleep in on the day you do World Showcase (as it opens later than Future World). As with our other touring plans, you can skip items in blue if you’re with young kids or sedate adults. |
TOURING PLAN FOR ADULTS OR KIDS Get FastPass+ (can be reserved 30-60 days in advance on My Disney Experience—see page 126) as early as possible. Enter Future World East Visit Mission: SPACE Visit Test Track Visit Spaceship Earth Visit Club Cool Visit The Seas with Nemo & Friends See Turtle Talk with Crush Visit Living With the Land (Optional: Visit The Circle of Life) Eat lunch at Electric Umbrella or Sunshine Seasons (estimate lunch time at about two hours after you enter the park) Visit Soarin’ Visit Disney & Pixar Short Film Festival Visit Journey Into Imagination with Figment Enter Canada Browse Canadian pavilion Enter United Kingdom Browse United Kingdom pavilion Enter France Browse French pavilion Visit Impressions de France Enter Morocco Browse Moroccan pavilion Have a snack in World Showcase East (try a baklava in Morocco or Kaki Gori in Japan) Enter Japan Browse Japanese pavilion Enter American Adventure Visit The American Adventure Eat dinner in World Showcase East. Try La Hacienda de San Angel* in Mexico, or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall* in Norway (estimate time at 7½ hours after you enter the park) Enter Norway Visit Frozen Ever After Enter Mexico Visit Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros Enjoy any extra “free time” at the World Showcase Find an IllumiNations viewing spot (see page 168 for tips) Watch IllumiNations (Tour duration: About 11 hours) * These restaurants may be difficult to impossible to get in as a walk-up. Advance dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance (see page 226). |
TOURING WITH KIDS Start at The Land or The Seas with Nemo & Friends rather than Mission: SPACE (be sure to see Turtle Talk with Crush). Proceed with the plan, omitting those items in blue that won’t appeal to your kids. The extra time you gain can be used at the Epcot Character Spot or Kidcot stations/Agent P. World Showcase Adventure (see page 163) around the World Showcase. * These restaurants may be difficult to impossible to get in as a walk-up. Advance dining reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance (see page 226). |
EPCOT ATTRACTIONS AT-A-GLANCE
The Allow column gives the amount of time (in minutes) you should allow for an attraction, assuming you do not have a FASTPASS and there are no ride breakdowns. Times in parentheses are approximate totals for all attractions in that pavilion—component times for that pavilion’s attractions are also in the attraction list. The letters after the page numbers stand for the first two letters of the land in which that attraction is located: FW for Future World and WS for World Showcase. |
