Stitch's Great Escape (Seasonal) [E-4] |
Guests are recruited by the Grand Councilwoman, Captain Gantu, and Pleakley to guard “Experiment 626” (Stitch), and mischief ensues when that wily captive escapes into the theater. Even Skippy, from this attraction’s previous incarnation, has a part. Animation, Audio-Animatronics, surround sound, lighting, and tactile effects combine to make an immersive experience. Alas, restrictive shoulder restraints, periods of total darkness, and a barrage of fire from “laser cannon” leave Stitch with too many scare factors and too little charm. Outdoor, covered queue. 40”/102 cm minimum height. Handheld captioning. Assistive listening. Wheelchair and ECV accessible. Allie’s TweenTip: “I love it when the power goes out!” Note: This attraction is open seasonally as of October 2016. Rumor has it that it could be closed permenantly now and could possibly be replaced by a Wreck-It Ralph attraction. Height restriction: 40" / 102 cm

Tomorrowland Arcade (closed) [G-3] A-OK! |
Closed permanently in February 2015 due to a new state law that forbids video game arcades that dispense prizes. Some video and pinball machines have been moved to other resort arcades. No word yet on what is replacing it, if anything. |

Tomorrowland Speedway [F-3] |
Every kid wants a chance to drive, and when they’re tall enough they can at this popular attraction. Experienced drivers won’t be as thrilled. Guide rails, shock-absorbing bumpers, and a low top speed (7 mph maximum) make these gas powered “race cars” safe. Family members can cheer from an enclosed grandstand (the entrance is to the right). Shortest waits are early in the morning. Covered outdoor queue. Transfer from wheelchair to ride. 52”/132 cm height restriction to drive solo. Health warning. Adult supervision required. Allie’s KidTip: “Even if you’re tall enough, make sure your feet can touch the pedals before you drive.” Rumor: This attraction may become a 'TRON' roller coaster similar to the popular one at Shanghai Disneyland. Height restriction: 52" / 132 cm to ride alone (32" / 81 cm to ride with a responsible adult)

Tomorrowland Transit Authority Peoplemover [F-4] A-OK! |
Take a grand tour of Tomorrowland on an elevated, automated people mover. The four-seat vehicles move sedately along a route that takes you through Space Mountain and past nearly every other attraction in Tomorrowland. Along the way you can look down upon Tomorrowland’s crowds and view a scale model of Progress City (formerly of Disneyland’s Carousel of Progress). It makes a great introduction to Tomorrowland. Outdoor, mostly covered queue. Must be ambulatory to ride. Name changed to add Peoplemover in summer 2010. Allie’s KidTip: “Look for the stars when you go through Space Mountain.” |

Disney announced that this new coaster will debut in time for Walt Disney World's 50th anniversary in 2021. TRON will be based on the highest-rated ride at Shanghai Disneyland, which is a coaster-style attraction where you board a train of two-wheeled lightcycles. The new attraction will be built in a new area right next to Space Mountain. While we do not expect any other attractions to close permanently for it, you can expect the Walt Disney World Railroad to temporarily close beginning in December 2018 and the Tomorrowland Speedway to temporarily close for part of 2019 (reopening summer 2019). |
