Magic Kingdom - Monsters Inc
Monster vending machine
... how yummy!
by Shell_of_the_South

This fun attraction picks up where the movie left off, inviting guests into a monster comedy club to collect their laughter and power Monstropolis. The fun show uses the same cool technology from “Turtle Talk with Crush” (see page 159), meaning the monsters onscreen like Mike Wazowski can interact with audience members. Expect some good natured ribbing, and some audience members even appear on screen. Indoor queue. Guests sit on hard plastic benches in the 458-seat theater. Wheelchair/ECV accessible. Assistive listening. Handheld and video captioning for portions of show.

    Space Mountain [G-3]

Space Mountain
by Crimeguy

Blast off into the blackness of space on the Magic Kingdom’s most exciting roller coaster. You’ll depart from ‘Space Station Seventy-Five,’ your gateway to the galaxies! This fast, indoor ride has sudden turns and short drops, but no big, stomach-in-your-throat drops. The darkness makes it scarier than it really is. The indoor queue and ride loading areas are rich with visual detail and interactive video games you can play while you wait (in the standby queue only). There are two slightly different coasters—go left for one, right for the other when you reach the loading area. Renovations in 2010 brought a smoother ride, more comfortable ‘ships,’ a darker ‘flight’ (with brighter ‘stars’), better effects, new soundtrack, in-vehicle sound system, and a general sprucing up! Transfer from ECV to wheelchair, then transfer from wheelchair to ride. 44”/112 cm height restriction. Adult supervision. Health warning. Allie’s KidTip: “I loved it! But it is bumpy. Try to sit in the middle. Ride it again if you can!”

Height restriction: 44" / 112 cm
