The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh [E-2] |
Take a gentle ride through the world of that fabulously popular bear. Blow through the Blustery Day, bounce along with Tigger, dream of Heffalumps and Woozles, and float away in a mighty spring flood, all in a four-seat “honey pot” that moves along an indoor track. Pooh fans will exit feeling warm and fuzzy— the better you know Pooh’s tales, the more you’ll get from your tour through the cartoon cutout scenery. The interactive, covered queue winds through pages blown away from a huge storybook—look for signs and fun things to do while you wait, including walls covered in “honey.” Transfer from ECV to wheelchair. Alex’s ToddlerTip: “Tigger and Pooh! :) ” Allie’s KidTip: “Sit in the front.” |

Mickey's PhilharMagic [D-2] |
Trouble’s brewing in Fantasyland in this 3-D movie experience, when Donald “borrows” (and loses) Mickey’s sorcerer hat. The audience, assembled in front of a giant, 150-foot-wide screen in PhilharMagic Concert Hall, awaits a concert conducted by Mickey. Donald, naturally, gets into deep trouble. Soon he’s scurrying through scenes from Disney classic films, trying to regain the lost hat. Along the way he meets Simba, Peter Pan, Lumiere, Aladdin, Ariel, and other favorite Disney characters. Look for Donald at the “end.” The 3-D movie effects and sensations are kid-friendly. Best seats in middle or back of theater. Covered queue. Wheelchair accessible. Assistive listening devices. Reflective captioning. Alex’s ToddlerTip: "Try to touch the pictures!" Allie’s TeenTip: “Wow! Good for all ages.” |

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel [D-2] A-OK! |
This colorful, lovingly maintained carrousel painted with scenes from Cinderella sits at the center of Fantasyland. Many of the 84 horses were rescued from a historic New Jersey carousel, but you’d have a hard time telling which ones. The horses closer to the perimeter tend to rise higher. One chariot (an original) holds six. Look for Cinderella’s horse with a golden ribbon on its tail. Disney tunes make it a joy for the ears! The carousel is particularly enchanting in the evening. Note that the name changed from Cinderella’s Golden Carrousel in 2010 in anticipation of the Fantasyland expansion. Guests must transfer from wheelchair to board. Adult supervision of children required. Alex’s ToddlerTip: :) Allie’s KidTip: “Sit carefully on the horse.” |
