The Diamond Horseshoe Saloon is serving light refreshments most of the time; buffet meals in peak seasons. This attraction has had difficulty finding its place in recent years, and we wouldn’t be surprised if it changes in the near future. Let’s hope they bring back a live show. If it’s open, it should remain wheelchair accessible. |

The Hall of Presidents: A Celebration of Liberty's Leaders [C-3] |
|
Ladies and gentlemen, the Presidents of the United States! The show begins with a 180˚ film presenting a patriotic, stirring view of our past. Every U.S. President is represented in full Audio-Animatronics glory—the attraction re-opened December 19, 2017 with the installation of our newest president as an advanced Audio Animatronics and a new 180-degree panoramic theater with enhanced lighting and sound. Details on the show's focus and narrator will be revealed as we draw closer to opening date. A red brick colonial hall houses the large, 700-seat theater, a cool, quiet hideaway. Wheelchair accessible. Reflective captioning. Assistive listening devices. Shows are every half hour. Allie’s KidTip: “You might like the movie—it talks about freedom.” TeenTip: “I’d rather do something else.” |

The Haunted Mansion [B-2] |
|
Go for a gore-free ride through a world of 999 grinning ghosts in this popular attraction. The spooky visual effects are astounding, but the scares are served up with a wink and lots of chuckles. There’s a fun storyline, nifty special effects, and enough delicious detail here that you’ll ride again and again. Just be sure to leave room in your two- to three-person “doom buggy” for hitchhiking ghosts! A new interactive queue is great fun, but you can bypass it for a quicker wait. May be too intense for young kids (though Allie liked it, she was a bit scared even at 12). Transfer from wheelchair to ride. Visit http://www.doombuggies.com for more details. Allie’s KidTip: “Can you find the dog skeleton? Hint: It’s on a cliff in the graveyard.” |

Take a cruise on a steam-driven sternwheeler. Mark Twain narrates your spin around Tom Sawyer Island, but the real joy is the attention to detail. The boat and its steam power plant are more interesting than the scenery—be sure to tour the decks. Dodge the sun in the middle deck salon. The “Liberty Belle” replaced the “Richard F. Irvine” in 1996. Wheelchair accessible. Adult supervision. Departs on the hour and half-hour. Alex’s KidTip: “Ask if you can help steer the boat!” |
