SHOPPING AT THE MAGIC KINGDOM Sure stops for general Disney merchandise include much of Main Street, U.S.A.—shops here are open for 30–60 minutes after park closing. Here are some of our favorite themed shops:

NOTES FOR THE MAGIC KINGDOM Free wireless Internet is available throughout the park! Look for the “Disney-Guest” network on your wireless device. Charge your device in Fantasyland (Rapunzel area) or buy a charger at a gift shop. Alcohol is now served in four restaurants at the Magic Kingdom: Be Our Guest restaurant, Tony's Town Square, Liberty Tree Tavern, and Skipper Canteen (see page 231). If you’re not dining at one of thes restaurants but want a drink, try one of the nearby resort hotels. Need a good place to meet? The Liberty Bell in Liberty Square and the waterside seating across from the Plaza Restaurant are good choices. We recommend you avoid Cinderella Castle. Main Street, U.S.A. closes a half hour later than the rest of the park. So while other folks fight the crowds in the parking lot, feel free to linger. Note that the stores are extremely busy at the end of the day. Dining options abound, although table-service isn’t as prevalent as at Epcot. There are seven table-service restaurants and many counter-service cafes and carts. See page 231 for details. |
RATINGS FOR THE MAGIC KINGDOM Ratings are explained on page 128.
