The newest Universal Orlando resort has 1,000 rooms (83 of them suites) located in located in two towers adjoining the lobby plus a standalone tower. As you’d expect from the newest resort on property, the rooms are packed with the latest technology, including an impressive 49” flat panel HD TV, iHome clock radios, video check out, smart room technology for automated heating and air conditioning and a Cuisinart single coffee pod brewer, along with complimentary wireless Internet access. Standard rooms come with either two queen beds (all views) or a king bed with pull-out sofa (lagoon and pool views only) and queen rooms sleep up to five guests, with the fifth person sleeping on a rollaway rental, while king rooms only sleep up to four. You can also choose a suite here, with king suites adding in a separate sitting area, while the kids’ suites have a king bed and two twin beds in a separate bedroom. The Sapphire Suite still only sleeps up to five, but it does add in a dining area, living room with wet bar, and two baths.
