Lodging and Dining at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club & Villas ResortsLodging and Dining at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club & Villas Resorts |
VILLAS Added in mid-2002 are the 205 Beach Club Villas with studio, one-, and two-bedroom villas for Disney Vacation Club members (see page 108) and the public at large. Studios accommodate up to four guests with one queen-size bed, a double-size sofa bed, and a kitchenette (with a sink, microwave, and small refrigerator). The one- and two-bedroom villas accommodate up to four or eight guests respectively and offer full kitchens, DVD players, king-size beds, delightful whirlpool tubs in the master bathroom, double-size sleeper sofas in the living room, and washers/dryers. All villas are quite homey and feel like a cottage you might have on the beach. Amenities for all villas include room service, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, newspaper delivery, in-room safe, toiletries (shampoo and soap), and voice mail. |
DINING AT DISNEY'S YACHT AND BEACH CLUB RESORT With the Yacht and Beach Club sharing restaurants, there are more dining options here than at almost any other resort. Table-service options (see page 261) include Beaches and Cream, a popular soda fountain; Cape May Cafe, a character breakfast and all-you-can-eat clambake; Yachtsman Steakhouse for dinner; and the Captain’s Grille for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Crew’s Cup offers a good snack menu. For a quick meal, try Hurricane Hanna’s, a poolside grill, or the Beach Club Marketplace, offering breakfast items, baked goods, sandwiches, salads, gelato, coffee, and beverages (Rapid Fill mugs—$17.99) for eat-in or take-out. A new quick service dining option, The Market at Ale & Compass, offers freshly made food items throughout the day as well as a Coke Freestyle machine for guests with resort refillable mugs. |
