DINING & LOUNGING AT DISNEY'S SARATOGA SPRINGS RESORT & SPA Hungry? The Turf Club Bar & Grill is a full-service restaurant (see details on page 259). The Artists’ Palette is an eatery and market resembling an artist’s loft. Open all day, it has pizzas, salads, sandwiches, bakery items, meals, groceries, gifts, and sundries. The Rocks and Backstretch pool bars are open daily. |
PLAYING & RELAXING AT DISNEY'S SARATOGA SPRINGS RESORT & SPA For Athletes: Rent surrey bikes at Horsing Around Rentals. There are also two clay tennis courts, basketball, shuffleboard, jogging path, and golf at the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course. For Charmers: Senses Spa (formerly Saratoga Springs Spa) has a fitness center and a full range of spa treatments (for a fee). For Children: Organized activities are offered at Community Hall. Children’s playground. “Pop-jet” play fountains are by the main pool and The Grandstand pool. Board games are in The Turf Club. For Gamers: Try your luck at Win, Place, or Show Arcade games in the Community Hall. For Romantics: Enjoy a relaxing, 25-minute carriage ride for $45. For Shoppers: Visit The Artists’ Palette for groceries and sundries. For Swimmers: The High Rock Spring pool features a zero-entry pool/children’s wading area, a 125-foot-long water slide, two free-form hot-tub spas, and an adjoining kids’ play area. The Paddock is a 3,200 sq. ft. pool with zero entry, water slide, and play area. There are three other leisure pools with spas (hot tubs). |
GETTING ABOUT FROM DISNEY'S SARATOGA SPRINGS RESORT & SPA Direct buses to the four major parks, water parks, and Disney Springs (see chart below for transit times) stop at the resort’s five bus stops. These buses also provide internal transportation within the resort. A boat from the dock near the Carriage House goes to the Marketplace at Disney Springs and Old Key West. Walking paths connect the resort with Disney Springs West Side (the pathway crosses the footbridge near the boat dock). Park next to each lodge building.
