![]() Choosing Your Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans ResortChoosing Your Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort |
BEST LOCATIONS AT DISNEY'S PORT ORLEANS RESORT Thanks to the merger of the two resorts, Port Orleans is exceptionally large and sprawling and room location can really make a difference in your resort experience. Each of Port Orleans’ three distinctive sections is beloved by its fans. There’s no right or wrong section. Request the style that suits you best. Most rooms in the French Quarter are within easy distance of Lobby Concierge, the gift shop, and the food court. Buildings 2–5 are the nearest. The best views are of the Sassagoula River, as the opposite river bank is pristine—consider upgrading to a river view. Riverside’s Magnolia Bend hosts 512 Royal Guest rooms that let you “stay where royalty has stayed,” featuring regal touches left behind by beloved Disney characters. Highlights include ornate beds with special optic effects, banners, and custom drapes. The grand “mansions” and formal gardens of Magnolia Bend in Riverside add a luxurious air to your stay. The Magnolia Terrace building is a good pick for proximity to recreation and dining. Our personal favorite is Alligator Bayou in Riverside. The buildings in Alligator Bayou are smaller (only two stories) and have lush landscaping. We often request building 14, which is near the main building, Ol’ Man Island, a leisure pool, and a bus stop—it has no bad views. Buildings 15 and 18 are also good choices. |
RATES FOR DISNEY'S PORT ORLEANS RESORT
