Disney’s vacation packages offer the promise of peace of mind and luxury. Package rates may be lower than the list price for each component, but may include more components than you can possibly use. A good number of veteran vacationers tell us they love these packages, while others say they can find better prices by obtaining each element separately. Note that everyone in your room must be on the same package and plan. For more information and reservations, ask your travel agent, call 407-939-6244, or visit http://www.disneyworld.com. Below are the 2018 packages:

Note that the 2018 Disney Dining Plans now allow guests over the age of 21 to choose 1 alcoholic beverage (wine, beer, or mixed cocktail) with each quick service or table service meal. If you do not want alcohol, you can instead choose an artisanal milkshake, smoothie, premium hot chocolate, soda, coffee, or tea.

Magic Your Way Basic Package—Get one or more nights at a Disney resort; an upgradeable Magic Your Way Base Ticket (see page 122); four vouchers (per package) for miniature golf; four vouchers (per package) for the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex; 10% off Sammy Duvall’s water sports; 10% off Splitsville bowling and food; and a variety of other shopping and restaurant discounts from 10%–20%. A three-night package starts at $181/adult per night (based on double occupancy).

Magic Your Way Quick Service Dining Plan—Everything in the basic package plus two meals at participating quick-service eateries (see page 223) and two snacks per day, and one Rapid Fill drink mug/person. Note that dessert is no longer included in the quick-service meals as of 2017. About $46.34/adult, $20.18/child per night above basic package.

Magic Your Way Dining Plan—One meal at a quick-service eatery, one meal at more than 100 participating Disney table-service restaurants* (see page 223 for dining plan details), two snacks per day, and one Rapid Fill drink mug/person. About $67.33/adult or $24.22/child per night above basic package cost.

Magic Your Way Deluxe Dining Plan—Everything in the above package, except you get three dining credits (good at table-service or counter-service) and two snack credits, plus one refillable mug/person. About $103.57/adult or $37.61/child per night above basic package cost.

Note: The Magic Your Way Premium and Platinum packages were discontinued in 2017.

Annual Passholder Package with Dining—Annual passholders can purchase packages that include lodging (which may or may not be discounted) and the Quick Service Dining Plan, the standard Dining Plan, and/or the Deluxe Dining Plan.

Note: It is also possible to book a package with a resort reservation and one of the Disney Dining Plans without the need to also include park admission.

* Participating Disney restaurants include all restaurants described in chapter five (see page 221) except the following eateries, which are excluded: Victoria & Albert’s (Grand Floridian) and Ghirardelli (Disney Springs). Note that this list is subject to change at any time—be sure to check with Disney before making plans. Kids ages 3–9 must order off the children’s menu when available. Dining Plan credits may also be used for in-room private dining.
