TIPS FOR DISNEY'S BOARDWALK INN & VILLAS

The Belle Vue Room is a marvel of nostalgia. It’s tucked away in a corner down the hall from the lobby on the Inn side of the resort. You’ll find backgammon, chess, and checkers tables (ask a cast member for game pieces), as well as a single-malt scotch menu.

Take a stroll through the grounds, away from the busy Promenade. The landscaping is a delight. If you prefer the bustle of the BoardWalk, rent a surrey bike and tour around the promenade and lake.

The BoardWalk Inn’s Garden Suites have to be the most romantic in the “World.” Each of the 14 suites looks like a two-story cottage. All suites have private entrances and most have a unique garden surrounded by a white picket fence with a trellised arbor gate. Suites have a separate living room, sleeper sofa, and a wet bar on the first floor, while the open second floor has a king-size bed, a separate shower, and a large whirlpool tub.

Look for several quaint sitting areas scattered about the resort.

NOTES ABOUT DISNEY'S BOARDWALK INN & VILLAS

The Luna Park slide is closed until 3/3/2017 and the Community Hall Pool is closed from 2/27/2017–3/1/2017.

Guests with rooms in the small courtyard building on the Inn side must use their MagicBand to enter the building itself.

Noise and light levels are important considerations here due to the proximity of the BoardWalk Promenade. If these are concerns, request a room away from both the promenade and the pools.

Conference facilities are available at the BoardWalk.

Check-in time is 3:00 pm (BoardWalk Inn) or 4:00 pm (BoardWalk Villas). Check-out time is 11:00 am for both.
