TIPS FOR DISNEY'S ART OF ANIMATION RESORT Rooms at this resort were the first to have “keyless” doors. Guests need only to hold their MagicBand near the door handle to unlock it. By the end of 2013, Walt Disney World had retrofit all of its resorts with these locks. Originally, this resort was to be an extension of Disney’s Pop Century Resort representing the first half of the 20th century, and would have been known as the Legendary Years! The 33-acre lake beside this resort is an added perk for a value resort—the other value resorts have no ponds, lakes, or rivers. Frequent park benches line the path, and you can see huge, colorful icons at the Pop Century across the lake reflected in the water. Self-service laundries are located near each pool. Wash loads and dry cycles are $3.00 each (cards only, no cash). Check-in time is 4:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am. |
NOTES FOR DISNEY'S ART OF ANIMATION RESORT Wondering how you would sleep on the unusual Inova TableBed in the family suites? It’s really rather clever and space-saving! You can learn more about it at https://inovabed.com/tablebed. Epcot’s IllumiNations fireworks are visible from some locations at this resort. Best views are from the northeast end. Check-in time is 4:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am. |
RATINGS FOR DISNEY'S ART OF ANIMATION RESORT Ratings are explained on page 28.
