PLAYING & RELAXING AT DISNEY'S ART OF ANIMATION RESORT For Athletes: The 12’ wide lakeside path is ideal for walks and jogs. Bikes can be rented for $10/hour, as well as surrey bikes for $25/half hour. The lake does not offer a marina. For Children: Two quiet playgrounds and an interactive play fountain are here (see map on page 48 for locations). For Gamers: The Pixel Play arcade is located in Animation Hall. For Shoppers: The large Ink and Paint shop offers Disney logo merchandise, clothing, sundries, and some snack foods. For Swimmers: Cool off in the large The Big Blue pool in the Finding Nemo courtyard (which also features a wading pool), and two smaller themed pools called the Flippin’ Fins Pool (The Little Mermaid courtyard) and Cozy Cone Pool (Cars courtyard). For Pet Owners: Pets are accepted at this resort for $50/night. There is a maximum of two dogs per guestroom. Each "dog friendly" room will have easy access to outdoor pet walkways for exercise and green spaces with pet relief areas. At check-in, guests will receive Pluto’s Welcome Kit including a mat, bowls, a pet ID tag, courtesy plastic disposable bags, puppy pads and dog walking maps. Also included: a Pluto “Do Not Disturb” door hanger indicating to hotel staff that a pet is in the room. Dogs are expected to be well behaved, leashed in public resort areas and properly vaccinated. This dog-friendly option will be available to Guests with reservations Oct. 15, 2017 through Oct. 15, 2018. |
GETTING AROUND AT DISNEY'S ART OF ANIMATION RESORT Buses (see chart below for in-transit times) are outside the main building of the resort. Stops are well-marked and offer benches and shelter.
