Making the Most of Disney's All-Star ResortsMaking the Most of Disney's All-Star Resorts |
TIPS FOR ALL-STAR RESORTS All-Star Music boasts 192 “Family Suites” (see photo on page 38). These 520 sq. ft. rooms sport two full bathrooms, a kitchenette, a queen bed, a full sofa bed, and two convertible twin beds. Each suite sleeps up to 6 people, plus one child under 3 in a crib. We love them! (Note that two standard rooms will be less expensive than one Family Suite, and it will sleep more people.) Walk around the resorts to catch all the neat props and details that make these resorts so fun. Even the walkways have fun designs. If you need an escape from the activity of the All-Stars, look for the quiet spots around the resorts. Relax in a hammock behind a stand of palm trees in Fantasia at All-Star Movies, or try the picnic tables in Country Fair’s courtyard in All-Star Music for a leisurely lunch. Watch for activities and movies at the main pools in the evenings! Mini-refrigerators without freezers are included in all rooms and suites at no extra charge. |
NOTES FOR DISNEY'S ALL-STAR RESORTS Plan to either carry your own luggage or wait a while (often 45–60 minutes) for their luggage assistance service to drop it off at your building. Unlike other Disney resorts, luggage is delivered at their convenience, not yours. Arrangements to pick up luggage on your departure day should be made the night before. You can borrow a luggage cart from the luggage assistance desk in the main hall, and you may need to leave your ID while you use the cart. Toiletries are limited to a bar of facial soap at the sink and bath soap and a shampoo/conditioner combo in the shower/tub. You may want to bring your own. Towels are not provided near the pools, so bring your own or use your room towels. Contact housekeeping for extra towels. Check-in time is 4:00 pm. Check-out time is 11:00 am. |
RATINGS FOR DISNEY'S ALL-STAR RESORTS Ratings are explained on page 28.
