Travelers flying to Orlando from Europe or via group charter may arrive at the smaller Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), located about 18 miles northeast of Orlando and 67 miles from Port Canaveral. Airlines with scheduled service into Sanford include Allegiant Air, ArkeFly, BeauRivage, Icelandair, Jetairfly, SST Air, and Galaxy Vacations, as well as two international charter services with flights from the United Kingdom and Ireland (Monarch and Thomson Airways).

Alamo/National, Avis, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, and Thrifty all operate in-terminal car rental desks. Budget has an off-site rental office. Mears Transportation and several shuttle services provide bus/van service from Sanford to Orlando-area attractions and Port Canaveral.

International passengers arrive and depart from Terminal A, while domestic travelers use Terminal B. A Welcome Center is located across the street from Terminal A and is home to ground transportation services.

Dining options here include the Budweiser Tap Room (terminal A) and basic food courts (terminals A & B).

For more details on the Orlando Sanford International Airport, phone 407-585-4000 or visit http://www.orlandosanfordairport.com. If you plan to rent a car at the airport and drive to the Walt Disney World Resort, use a map routing service such as MapQuest.com before you leave home to get directions (the airport is located at 1200 Red Cleveland Blvd., Sanford, FL 32773).
