Rafting on the Martha Brae   [FA01]

A barefoot guide poles a bamboo raft as a couple sits on a rustic loveseat.... If this is your idea of Jamaica, this is your excursion! A 25-minute bus ride brings you to the village of Martha Brae for that relaxing, three-mile drift. After a stroll through Miss Martha's Herb Garden you'll board your raft. Your guide will tell some tales, and you'll sip a complimentary beverage along the way. Then it's back to Falmouth for a tour of St. Peter's Anglican Church and a return to the ship. Wheelchair accessible, no ECVs, must be able to board the bus and raft on your own. Two guests per raft, though a small child may be able to make it three. Combined weight of guests must not exceed 500 lbs. Ages 3-15 must ride with a parent or guardian, 16-17 must have a parent/guardian on the same tour. Time in transit: 1 hour

Highlights of Falmouth and Greenwood Great House   [FA02]

Take a walk through Jamaican history. You'll start with a tour of historic Falmouth, including a visit to St. Peter's Church. Then, you'll be off to one of the island's plantation great houses. Though famed poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning never visited Jamaica, her family's fortune was made here. Greenwood Great House recalls that history, an era dominated by sugar and slavery, with original furnishings, musical instruments, and other art and antiques. Wheelchair accessible, no ECVs, must be able to board the bus on your own, walk on even terrain, and climb some stairs. Time in transit: 1 hour

Dolphin Cove and Dunn's River Falls   [FA03]

Wildlife lovers may enjoy this one. You'll start at famed Dunn's River Falls, a beautiful series of water-smoothed limestone cascades. Though you can just look from the paved path (which is sometimes steep and involves an occasional step), most visitors join the conga line at the beach that snakes its way up the 200-foot falls. You'll get soaked, and water shoes are a great idea (can be rented on site). After 1.5 hours there, it's off to Dolphin Cove, where you'll have 2.5 hours to visit animal exhibits (we liked the aviary), watch crafts demonstrations and the shark show, shop, and view other people's dolphin interactions (see FA04, page 306). An uninspired barbecue lunch and tropical drink are included. We had mixed feelings—we enjoyed climbing the falls, but Dolphin Cove without a dolphin encounter just doesn't cut it. Wheelchair accessible, no ECVs, must be able to board the bus on your own. Must be at least 36" tall to climb the falls, and be able to negotiate wet, uneven terrain. Rental lockers are available at both locations. Time in transit: 2 hours

Dolphin Encounter and Dunn's River Falls   [FA04]

$20/$16 adds a 15-minute dolphin "touch" interaction to Dolphin Cove and Dunn's River Falls (see FA03, page 306). Participants will stand on a shallow-water platform to touch, splash, and maybe kiss a dolphin, and that may be enough to nudge the Dolphin Cove experience into the "plus" column. Wheelchair accessible, no ECVs, must be able to board the bus on your own. Must be at least 36" tall to climb the falls, and be able to negotiate wet, uneven terrain. Rental lockers are available at both locations. Children ages 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult booked on the same excursion. Older children can be chaperoned by an adult on the Dolphin Cove and Dunn's River Falls excursion (FA03, page 306). Time in transit: 2 hours
