We describe many of Disney’s shore excursions with our custom-designed, at-a-glance charts. Each chart includes a description, tips, restrictions, typical meeting times, our reviews (when available), cruiser reviews in summary form (when available), information on how to do the excursion on your own, a reader rating, and more! We’ve organized this array of information into a consistent format so you can find what you need quickly. Below is a key to our charts, along with notes and details.

Key to the Excursion Chart:

Rating: #

Excursion Name [Disney’s Code Number]

Description offering an overview of the excursion, what to expect (without giving too much away, of course), historical background, trivia and “secrets,” our recommendations and review (if we’ve experienced it), tips on getting the most out of the excursion, height/age restrictions, typical meeting times, things you should and shouldn’t bring with you, a summary of cruiser reviews we’ve received, and contact information if you want to do the excursion (or something similar to it) “On Your Own”—note that doing it on your own will often be with a different tour operator, however.

1 Each chart has an empty checkbox in the upper left corner—use it to check off the excursions you want to take (before you go) or those you’ve taken (after you return).

2 When available, we note a reader rating from a scale of 0 (bad) to 10 (excellent). These ratings are compiled from the shore excursion reviews we receive (see sidebar below).

3 Icons indicate what you should (or can) bring along. The sun icon suggests plenty of sunscreen and a hat. The bag icon means you can bring a totebag or backpack along on the excursion. And the camera icon indicates you can bring a camera or camcorder.

4 The type of activity you can expect on the excursion, such as Sports, Beach, or Tour.

5 The physical activity level, such as “Leisurely” (a mild level of activity), “Active” (a moderate level of activity), and “Very active” (a whole lot of activity).

6 The age requirements for the excursion. Some excursions are for “All ages,” while others are for certain ages and up. A few are for teens only.

7 Prices for adults (and kids, if available). Kids prices are for kids up to 9. Most tours that do not involve a boat transfer will allow kids under 3 to go free. Prices subject to change.

8 The approximate duration of the excursion. If we offer a range, it’s more likely that the excursion will take the maximum time noted, in our experience.
