Skyline on the Disney Dream

Adult Lounge—This lounge is always adults-only, and age 21+ after 9:00 pm. On the Magic, it’s called Keys and it has an Art Deco feel. On the Wonder, it’s Cadillac Lounge and has a vintage auto theme (refurbished in late 2016). On the Dream, it’s the District Lounge, and on the Fantasy, it’s Italian plaza-themed La Piazza, complete with a Vespa motor scooter. Relax in low, comfy chairs, listen to live music, and get mellow. This is a perfect spot for pre-dinner or pre-show drinks and romantic interludes. Hours are usually from 4:30 pm to midnight or 1:00 am. Smoking is not permitted in any part of this club. The Dream Class ships each have two more lounges in The District/Europa; Skyline, on both ships, is lined with floor to ceiling video screens to evoke the view from an elegant penthouse (this is Dave’s favorite “hang”). Every 15 minutes the scene changes to another great city. Pink (Dream) and Ooh La La (Fantasy) are quiet, moderately lit lounges, especially popular with the ladies. Pink has a “bubbly” theme intended to evoke the inside of a glass of champagne, and Ooh La La has a Parisienne boudoir feel.

O’Gill’s Pub/Crown & Fin Pub/Diversions/Pub 687—This all-purpose pub and sports bar is a clubby room filled with comfy chairs. Warm wood tones create a relaxing atmosphere, as do chess/backgammon tables and a small selection of books and magazines. What can you do here besides drink, play, and relax? Check your Personal Navigator for sporting event broadcasts (shown on the numerous televisions in the back), beer tastings and trivia, and a British Pub Night. Smoking is not allowed in any part of this venue. Diversions on the Wonder became Crown & Fin Pub in late 2016.

Beverages are served at all clubs, and each club has its specialties, such as champagne at Pink and beers in the pubs. See page 178 for details on availability and prices. Snacks may be available out in the hallway and in the pub after about 10:00 pm. There’s duty-free liquor for sale in the shops (see page 559), but purchases cannot be consumed onboard.
