Activities for Teens (continued)
Activities for Teens (continued)
Arcade—Arr-Cade (Fantasy) had been a favorite teen hangout located on deck 11 aft, but it closed at the end of April 2017 to make way for a new sweets shop. There are also a few video arcade games on deck 10 midship on the Magic and Wonder, just below Vibe. See page 198. (The arcades on the Magic and Wonder were converted to the Edge tweens club, and to Vanellope's Sweets & Treats on the Dream. The Fantasy's new ice cream emporium is named Sweet on You.)
Wide World of Sports Deck/Goofy’s Sports Deck—Shoot some hoops on deck 10 forward. The Dream and Fantasy add mini-golf, golf simulators, and more, on 13 aft.
Internet Cafe/Vista Café—Sure, there are Internet terminals in the teen clubs, but sometimes it’s just more convenient to come down to deck 3/4. See page 210.
Spa—Chill Spa (all ships, added to Disney Wonder in fall 2016) is a teens-only spa inside Senses Spa. See page 212.
Buena Vista Theatre—Teens love free movies! See page 208 for details.
Teen Parties—Dance parties are held either in Vibe or in D Lounge.
Hot Tubs (“spas”) at Goofy’s Pool—Teens’ favorite aquatic “hot spot” on the Magic Class ships. On the Dream Class, Vibe’s own pools are a favorite.
Teen Shore Excursions—Special teen-only excursions are available at certain ports, such as the “Wild Side” on Castaway Cay. See chapter 6 starting on page 221 for details.
Teen Hideout—On Castaway Cay, teens have their own area, with an open-air pavilion and organized activities.
Other Teen Activities—Here is a sample of activities taken from recent teen Personal Navigators (keep in mind that not all these activities may be available on your cruise):
✔ Mickey Mania
✔ Homecoming Night Party, Party in Paradise
✔ Pump It Up—Weight training
✔ Gotcha!—A day-long game of elimination
✔ Pirate’s Life for Me Karaoke
✔ Teen-created activity schedule (one day on most cruises)
✔ Animation Antics—Learn to draw your favorite Disney characters
✔ H20 Splashdown in the family pool
✔ Mario Kart, DJ Hero, and Guitar Hero Challenges
✔ Video Scavenger Hunt
Tip: Even if you’re not sure about all these activities, we highly recommend teens visit the club on the first evening to meet other teens and see what it’s all about. This first evening is when many onboard friendships are formed.
