While we can’t predict exactly what you’ll be offered, we can share menu highlights from past cruises. Menus vary somewhat from ship to ship, so not all items will be on your menu. We’ve underlined those menu items we and our fellow cruisers have enjoyed and recommend that you try.

Breakfast (a la carte Magic Class, buffet Dream Class)

A la carte choices: chilled juices (orange, grapefruit, cranberry, prune, V-8, apple, tomato); fresh fruit (grapefruit, melon, banana, fruit cocktail); yogurt (fruit and plain yogurt, assorted low-fat yogurt); hot cereal (oatmeal, Cream of Wheat); cold cereal (Corn Flakes, Raisin Bran, Rice Krispies, Frosted Flakes, low-fat granola, Froot Loops); Muesli (mixture of toasted whole grain flakes, oatmeal, raisins, berries, yogurt, milk, and honey); lox and bagel (served with cream cheese); pastries (Danish pastries, muffins, croissants, bagels, donuts, English muffins, toast—white, wheat, or rye); chef’s selection (scrambled eggs, bacon, grilled sausage, oven-roasted potatoes or hash browns); eggs Benedict; eggs to order (scrambled, fried, poached, or boiled—with oven-roasted potatoes and your choice of breakfast meat: grilled sausage, grilled ham, or bacon); omelets (Denver, ham and cheese, plain, Egg Beaters—with potatoes or hash browns); hot off the griddle (buttermilk pancakes, blueberry pancakes, French toast, waffles); beverages (coffee—regular or decaffeinated, assorted teas, hot chocolate, milk—whole, low-fat, skim, or chocolate).

Lunch (menu changes daily)

starters (shrimp cocktail, chips and salsa, roasted vegetable tart, hummus “chickpea” dip, curried pumpkin soup, Roquette salad, or sesame seed tuna); main courses (mushroom risotto, classic Reuben sandwich, barbecue pork ribs, traditional American meatloaf, broiled filet of tilapia, grilled chicken, or traditional hamburger); desserts (banana cream pie, hot apple ‘n’ pineapple crunch, double chocolate cake, key lime pie, or chef’s sugar-free dessert).

Dinner (first rotational visit only)

appetizers (duck confit, iced lobster and jumbo shrimp, Gaston's escargot gratinée, breaded and deep fried brie); soups and salads (French onion soup, potage parmentier, farmhouse salad, red wine bosc pear salad); main courses (lobster macaroni/conchiglie pasta, salmon royale, roasted duck breast, rack of lamb, Chateaubriand-roasted filet steak, mini potato dumplings, tuna niçoise, sirloin steak, chicken breast, salmon filet, or vegetarian selections—mushroom-stuffed pasta, grilled marinated tofu, and breaded and deep fried rice); desserts (Grand Marnier soufflé, crème brûlée, apple tart tatin, strawberry shortcake sundae, Tahitian vanilla crème brûlée, opera gateau, and sweet temptation of raspberry mousse, mango cheesecake, and vanille crème brûlée, or sugar-free dessert—mango cheesecake, raspberry mousse slice, or duo chocolate slice).

Tip: No matter where you dine, you’ll find simpler and healthier choices on each menu, like grilled steak, roasted chicken breast, and baked salmon.

RE: Photo Slice for Lumiere's/Triton's/Royal Palace/Royal Court Sample Meus

Does anyone know if escargot is offered any other time? My son was eager to try this and asked if he'd have the chance, but the adults in our party are dining at Palo the evening of our first Royal Court rotation and the kids were going to do room service. I'd hate for him to miss the chance so hoping it's offered another time?
