Dinner at Palo ($30/person service charge; menu doesn’t change; daily specials)

Starters and salads (tomato mozzarella caprese, fried calamari, tuna carpaccio, arugula salad; soup (Tuscan white bean or cuippin soup); main courses (piquant Dover sole, grilled tuna, grilled sea scallops, rack of lamb, lemon rosemary chicken, beef tenderloin, osso buco, caramelle di vitello, butternut agnolotti, wild mushroom risotto, pappardelle con aragosta, pennelle pasta, mushroom risotto); desserts (tiramisu, panna cotta, chocolate soufflé with vanilla bean sauce, amaretto souffle with vanilla bean saucesweet pizza, limoncello tart, warm orange almond cake, assorted gelato, apple crostata). Palo’s excellent pizzas are no longer on the dinner menu, but it never hurts to ask.

Palo Champagne Brunch Offerings

Champagne Brunch ($30/person)—offered on cruises with at-sea days, including the 4-night cruise. A second brunch seating was added in mid-2012 to allow more guests to enjoy this hard-to-reserve meal. High Tea was discontinued in order to make that possible.

Buffet of assorted traditional breakfast and lunch items: breakfast items (cereals, breakfast breads, Danish pastries, specialty eggs, pancakes); lunch items (shrimp, grilled marinated vegetables, Alaskan king crab legs, smoked salmon & mixed greens, selection of cheeses and meats, pizzasgrilled cut sirloin); and desserts (fresh fruit and berries, tiramisu, lemon meringue pie, cappuccino mousse). One glass of champagne is complimentary, as is fresh-squeezed orange juice. (Tip: If you don’t drink, ask for sparkling juice.) Champagne specialty drinks are available for $5.25.
