Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom, sleep 4-5

The Disney Dream and Fantasy added only one new stateroom layout to the Disney fleet, and this is it. You no longer have to pay verandah pricing to have space for a family of five (or additional elbow room for smaller families). The room interiors are roughly equivalent to the Deluxe Family Staterooms with Verandah, only without the verandah.

There are 109 category 8 staterooms (sub-categories 8A-8D) on the Dream Class ships. Interior area is 241 sq. ft./22 sq. m., 15 sq. ft./1.4 sq. m. less than the otherwise comparable category 4 Deluxe Family Stateroom with Verandah (see page 139), and 38 sq. ft./3.6 sq. m. larger than category 9 Deluxe Oceanview Staterooms (see page 146). The rooms have the same circular tub and fold-down single bed as categories 4 and V. The 12 category 8A staterooms are located near the bow on decks 5 and 6, and have a different layout, wider and less deep (roughly square). Of those, six are handicap-accessible (5018, 5518, 6012, 6014, 6510, 6512). 22 category 8B rooms are found on deck 9 near the extreme front and rear of the ship. 45 category 8C rooms are found in the same locations on decks 7 and 8. 30 category 8D rooms are in about the same locations on deck 6, but mostly aft on deck 5 (5016 and 5516 are forward).

Fold-down bed, berth bed, and couch bed
