Nine Dragons Restaurant |
Nine Dragons has improved the variety and adventure on its menu. Many regions of China are represented by familiar and unusual menu items. Appetizers ($5-$13) include pot stickers, steamed buns, and shrimp and taro lollipops. Main courses ($16-$26) include fried rice, sweet and sour pork, stir-fried veggies, kung pao chicken, fragrant five-spiced fish, and Chinese chicken salad. Lunch choices are similar but prices are a few dollars less and you could create a dim sum-style meal from the appetizers. Kids’ entrees (sweet & sour shrimp, honey chicken, or shrimp and chicken) are $7.98-$10.98.

I was disappointed with the food, selection and atmosphere. Not as good as I thought it would be. Disappointed and won't be returning!!

While pretty crowded the food was great, better than PF Changs.

Much, so much better than the Quick Serve Chinese options.

Take a moment to look around inside. There are some very cool deco items, like the actual nine dragons (my favorite is the center green one). The service is always wonderful. The portion sizes are on the small size. They do have a Prix Fixe at dinner which has some nice options. Our favorite entrees are the Honey Sesame Chicken, Sirloin Steak and Shrimps, Kung Pao Shrimp, and Sweet and Sour Pork. Their fried rice is tasty. For dessert, let me warn you about the Chinese Ginger Cake and Caramel Ginger Ice Cream. Our family likes GingerAle, but we hated both of these desserts. But one thing we always get and enjoy is the Iced Chai Tea. The tables are not roomy, but I would not let that stop you from choosing Nine Dragons. My suggestion is to maybe go at lunch so that you know you will have a larger appetite for your supper.
