Restaurant Marrakesh |
Enjoy exotic food in an authentic Moroccan setting as modest belly dancers and live musicians lend even more atmosphere. Lamb and chicken are the backbone of the cuisine, either roasted or stewed ($27.99). The flaky pastry-based appetizers ($6.99–$10.99) are a must, especially the chicken bastilla ($9.99)—this is one of Jennifer’s all-time favorite foods in the World! If you’ve always wanted to try couscous, the Moroccan national dish of stewed meat and/or vegetables over steamed semolina, you’ll find it is quite good here ($21.99–$23.99). Prices are a few dollars less at lunch. Plan to sample a variety of appetizers and desserts (desserts $5.95–$8.95). The kids’ menu offers “Moroccan” pasta with meatballs, chicken tenders, and kefta (hamburger) with fries ($7.99).

PassPorter's Ratings for Restaurant Marrakesh
Author Jennifer Marx's Rating:
The food was okay, very small portions though. We got seated as the belly dancers finished a set and thought they would dance again while we were there after a break, but we were there for an hour and a half and they never came back. Kinda ruined the point of the reservation.

I had the chicken because I wasn't brave enough to try the lamb. It was delicious, maybe next time I will be brave enough to try the lamb.

Expensive if off the DDP... Everyone should experience this place once. A few years back, this place was MUCH, MUCH cheaper and completely uncrowded. It consistently carried a 9 Passporter rating. Experience it once, but for most people, once is enough.

No one on our party liked their food very much. We had to take our older son (12) to get food somewhere else

Tried it twice and disappointed both times. The food is not authentic Moroccan.
