Rooms (& Layout) Update
The Wilderness Cabins should completely replace the old Wilderness Homes by November 2000.

Food (Dining & Lounging) Update
If you decide to do the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue dinner show ater you arrive, try calling WDW-DINE the day that you'd like to attend. You may be able to get a table that another party has cancelled, and it can even have an excellent vantage point.

Recreation (Playing & Relaxing) Update
You can now rent surrey bikes at the marina for $16/half-hour (2-seater) or $18/half-hour (4-seater).

Kid's fishing excursions are no longer available at Fort Wilderness.

Transportation (Getting About) Update
The Chip and Dale internal buses are being discontinued. Read our article for more information.

Fort Wilderness transportation is a bit more complicated than at other resorts, often requiring a bus transfer to reach a destination. We've written up an entire Fort Wilderness Transportation Guide as a supplement to information in the PassPorter which contains a bit of confusing/incorrect information. Our sincere thanks to Laurie Hoffman for finding our first genuine error in PassPorter!

Notes (& Tips) Update
The kennel has recently been renovated, but it now only offers half the capacity it had originally. The other half is now being used by Animal Kingdom for internal use.
