What's New in PassPorter Walt Disney World 2003

Where do we start? The list of new features is extensive -- we count over 20 new features, not to mention all the changes and updates. The 2003 edition is not just a reprint of our previous 2002 edition! Rather, we listened carefully to your feedback and added the features you requested!

On the right is a near-exhaustive list of each of the new features and items in PassPorter 2002. We organized them in the order that you might encounter them as you flip through the book.

Top New Features in PassPorter 2003:

1. Coverage of the Recent Changes: Unlike every other 2003 guidebook out there, PassPorter 2002 has coverage of the many changes that occured in September and October 2002, including Extra Magic Hour!

2. Disney Photographs: We're STILL the only unofficial Disney travel guide to include actual photos of the Walt Disney World resort! This edition includes our own photography -- not only will you see photos you've not seen elsewhere, but we've included ourselves in some of the pictures, too. You'll spot a magnificent photo of Cinderella Castle with fireworks behind it, and 12 additional Disney photos of resorts, parks, and restaurants within the text.

3. Actual room resort rates: At our reader's request, we've included the actual Disney resort hotel rates for various room types and for each of the four seasons (value, regular, peak, and holiday).

4. Expanded coverage of the Hotel Plaza Hotels: We've doubled the amount of information on each of these hotels! We've also included a sidebar on transportation to and from these hotels to the Disney parks.

5. More Off-Site Hotel Information: We added two full pages of detailed reviews about hotels near Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. Hotels reviewed include: Holiday Inn FamilySuites, Radisson Resort Parkway, Sheraton Safari Resort, Hard Rock Hotel, Portofino Bay Hotel, and Royal Pacific Resort.

6. Disney Property Transportation Chart: Wondering how to get from here to there? We've added a handy chart that tells you whether you can take a bus, boat, monorail, or even walk from one point to another.

7. Actual Park Pass Prices: The pass prices just went up, and unlike other 2003 guidebooks, we've got the actual prices right in PassPorter!

8. New and Updated Allie's KidTips: Allie's updated her tips and added new ones for most of the attractions in the parks (major and minor). Kids love these tips, and adults find them helpful for determining if their child will like an attraction.

9. Attraction Icons: Now you can tell at-a-glance if an attraction has FASTPASS and/or an age/height restriction. Our handy icons are at the top of each attraction chart.

10. More Places to Play: We've expanded our coverage of more places to play outside the parks, adding BoardWalk, Fort Wilderness, and more details on the Richard Petty Experience.

11. More Details on Guided Tours: Our guided tours are now organized into at-a-glance charts and packed with more information, including age limits!

12. More Details on Recreation and Water Sports: Looking to boat or water ski? Find out how with our added information!

13. Childcare Programs: We've also re-organized our information on Disney's childcare clubs into at-a-glance charts, giving you more information on pricing, meals, and hours.

14. More Money-Saving Coupons: In addition to our popular coupon for Tiffany Town Car, we've added coupons for Magical Journeys travel agency and Gifts of a Lifetime!

15. New Magical Memories, Tips, and Quotes: Not only are all the magic moments (touching Disney stories from real people) new in this edition, all the tips are as well! And we've got new rave reviews from our wonderful readers, plus fun stories of reader's adventures with their PassPorters.

16. Info on New Attractions: Get the dish on new attractions like Triceratop Spin (at Animal Kingdom) and The Magic Carpets of Alladin (at the Magic Kingdom), plus sneak peeks at Primeval Whirl (at Animal Kingdom) and Mission: Space (at Epcot).

17. Reformatted Page Design: Now every resort or park section starts on an oddly-numbered page, which means you can completely remove an entire section cleanly!

18. Sneak Peeks: We've got a page of information on the newly-announced Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa (the former Disney Institute), as well as information on Mission:SPACE and Mickey's PhilharMagic.

19. More Peer Reviewers: This edition has been checked for accuracy, readability, and thoroughness by even more expert peer reviewers -- a whopping eleven reviewers!

20. Complete Update: Every page in PassPorter 2003 has changes -- either updates or additions. No stone was left unturned and no text ignored or out-of-date.
