As predicted, Walt Disney World increased the price of admission on June 3, 2012. One interesting note - the cost of adding both the Park Hopper AND the Water Park Option to admission has decreased. Previously, both the Park Hopper and the Water Park Option were about $55 each. So adding both options added over $100 to your ticket price. Now to add both the Park Hopper and the Water Park Option to your ticket is only $79 plus tax, making adding both much more affordable.

It would have been helpful to know what the new versus the old prices were.  Maybe they want more visitors to the water park and more people park hopping? I agree with Cheryl...Or Disney wants people to buy both options and forget to do one of them (pay to hop & water park, but only hop). Either that or they want to thin the crowds a bit in MK after Fantasyland Expansion by offering the options at a slightly lower price point.
