Text of Page 57 (Map of Coronado Springs Resort)

The text on your right is direct from page 57 of PassPorter™ Walt Disney WorldŽ (1999 Edition) for the convenience of our current readers and for the enjoyment of our future readers.

To help PassPorter readers make the best lodging decision, each Disney owned-and-operated resort receives a comprehensive 4-page description, including a map of the resort. The example we've chosen is from the final page of our report on the Coronado Springs Resort.

Finding Your Place at the Coronado Springs Resort

Coronado Springs Resort Map

(a detailed map of the resort appears here--see graphic)

Best Locations

The Casitas are the least interesting visually, but are convenient to the Convention Center—in fact, they house the only rooms that you can reach from El Centro without leaving the protection of a roof or overhang (helpful on rainy days). Building 1 is the closest to the Convention Center. Ranchos are the closest to the main pool, and farthest from El Centro—we think they are the most charming. We recommend buildings 7A and 7B for view and proximity to the pool. The Cabanas are far from the Convention Center, but are convenient to El Centro and are inviting for their rustic beach resort atmosphere. Building 8A has good views and 9B is next door to El Centro.

Rates

Rooms at Coronado Springs begin in the low-$100’s and come in standard and water views, with special rates for the king bed and queen-size Murphy bed rooms. Suites begin in the mid-$200’s and go up to the high-$700’s.
