 I almost skipped Disney's Animal Kingdom on my family's first trip to Walt Disney World in 2009.
We had only two days to visit the parks and I found myself talking to every Disney veteran I knew for tips. A well-intentioned friend (and Animal Kingdom skeptic) recommended we head to Disney's Hollywood Studios instead of our planned visit to Animal Kingdom. "There are next to no rides," she told me. "And we hardly saw any animals on the safari. You really get a better experience at the local zoo for a quarter of the cost."

"The 2013 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will be held September 27 - November 11, 2013 and will feature food and drink from around the world. One new booth this year will be Scotland, featuring classic Scottish dishes (wonder if there will be Haggis?) and a Rusty Nail - a scottish cocktail featuring Scotch whisky and Drambuie. Among those returning will be popular favorites Brazil, Hawaii, and Terra - a vegan food booth."

Quiet Counter Service in Hollywood Studios
"If you're wanting decent counter service in Disney's Hollywood Studios, there's a really nice, out of the way open air market in the Sunset Boulevard area of Hollywood Studios that has different options depending on what you want. Most people speed right by there because they want to get to Tower of Terror and Rock & Roller Coaster as fast as humanly possible. Just follow the turkey legs (since that's where Toluca Legs Turkey Co. is)!"
