Jennifer Asks:
Jennifer and Sara,
Thank you so much for the dedicated and informational podcast. I came across your show just after you released episode #1, and I have been listening ever since. My family and I frequent WDW regularly, though it is during the peak season of summer usually, as I am a teacher and I truly believe in keeping children in school. Their education is the absolute most important part of their lives, so I refuse to pull my kids (all 6 of them) out of school for a vacation.
That said, I am surprising my youngest 3 daughters (ages 9, 8, & 3 1/2) to a trip to the World over Halloween and to MNSSHP. I am leaving after school immediately on Friday, October 29th and flying into Orlando from D.C, for the extended weekend (my kids and I have off from school Nov. 1st & 2nd). My questions are this:
1. We usually drive to WDW but am flying Southwest this time. The flight is suppose to arrive at 5:15 pm. Do you think I should have enough time to use the free Magical Express to make it to All-Star Music and then to Magic Kingdom by the 7:00 pm opening? Or do you think that I should reserve a car (after listening to last week's show) to cut down on our trip time? I do not plan on checking baggage, as each child can carry their backpack, and we will already be dressed in costumes from the Halloween activities at school earlier that day, and I plan on eating at the airport to pass the time as well.
2. I'll already have my MNSSHP tickets from picking them up during our upcoming August trip, so do you think it's necessary to visit our resort at all before the Party or should we just store our luggage in lockers at MK? (I know that if I use Magical Express, I'll have to go to the resort first)
3. Finally, my 9 year old LOVES Villains, so do you have any tips or can we meet the characters after the Mix-n-Mingle Show?
Thank you for all of your hard work. As a working mom, your time is the most valuable and you are bringing a bit of Disney magic to your listeners each week. Thank you!

Hi Jennifer and Sara,
I just wanted to say thank you. I had submitted a question about Shades of Green versus a budget or Moderate Hotel and I'm taking you advice and booking Shades of Green - thanks again and I'm getting excited for my trip.
Here is my question. How far in advance can you get a pre-order photopass? It is like the tickets and never expire? I was thinking of getting one for a Christmas gift this year but I'm not traveling until 2011 so I don't want there to be some sort of time frame where it will "run out".
Also how many photopass cards can you use if you pre-order the CD? We will have at least 2 parties and I would imagine at least 2 cards. Can they be linked up together so all the photos can go onto the pre-paid CD?
Maybe I'm just being dumb or over thinking this or perhaps I just don't fully understand how it all works as this will be my first visit to the World where I will use the photopass photographers. I'm just a little fuzzy on the pre-order side of things. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Jennifer and Sara,
I have 2 questions this week.
1) With the extension of the dinning plan into next year, do you know how strict Disney will be about having a ticket purchase with the room?
I'm wondering since we have purchased our tickets already, would Disney credit the cost of the tickets or waive that requirement? In actuality we are planning a stay at Shades of Green and since we have already purchased our tickets, I would think Disney would be happy to have out hotel reservation over Shades. What do you think? Sara, being a travel agent have you found Disney willing to compromise or are they sticklers?
2) I know there are some unofficial days at Disney like gay days and mouse meets. Do you know if there are any unofficial (or official) days for adopted families? Sara, like you, my son was adopted and I'd love to see if Disney had something like that so we could attend.
Thanks ladies, keep up the great work.
