Questions/topics we discuss in this podcast: Hi Jennifer and Sara, Doing a great job with the podcast. I wanted to ask your opinion about hotels in WDW. I'm in the planning stages of my next trip to WDW. I'm a seasoned visitor but will have my son on his first visit. My Sister and her family and my mother will be joining us on this trip. On our last trip we rented a home from AllStar which was great. I'm thinking of doing it again as I loved the kitchen and private pool. My sister wants to stay on property. She thinks the travel time will be less getting into the theme parks, I keep telling her it all depends on where we stay. We really can't afford Deluxe hotels so we are looking at Value and Moderate. I've stayed in both before as well as Fort Wilderness. However, my mother can get us into Shades of Green. What would your advice be? I'm leaning toward Shades as this may be my mom's last visit to WDW. Which value and Moderate resort would you suggest? Would you suggest Shades or a rental home? I don't know why I'm having such a hard time deciding this so your advice may help me to choose. BTW my sister is a family of 5 but one of her kids could stay in my room to fit the occupancy requirements. I don't know if the new resort will be open when we go but that could always be an option for next visit. Thanks so much - Holly

Hi! I have been a fan of the passporter for many years and love all the advice you give. A few years ago, my husband and I and another couple booked a land and sea package where we had four days at Walt Disney World and then 3 days on the Disney Cruise ship. It was a magical time and we are thinking about going again. it was so wonderful to check in to the resort and then at the same resort check into to the cruise. However, I am not finding this type of package on line anymore and I am wondering if they are still offering it. If not, what would be the best way to do such a trip? Thank you! Audrey Hughes

Hello, I would first like to thank you for providing an excellent and fact filled podcast. It has help me in my planning of our family vacation to WDW this summer. I also enjoy the newsletter and really enjoy the non-Disney related articles. We will be flying to Orlando on a "red eye" flight from California for an 8-night stay at WDW. (2 night at Jambo House 1 Bdr Savannah view(DVC) and 6 night Boardwalk Villas (DVC)). We plan to purchase Magic Your Way tickets with the park hopper option and water parks and more. My question is, on the first day, can we go to a water park without first going to one of the main parks. I heard on another podcast that I could do this but they really were not 100% sure. Thanks for the help. David M., San Dimas, California.

I'm torn between these two resorts for a late October trip. Port Orleans Riverside seems to get consisently better reviews but I wonder about the pool for my 9 and 5 year old boys. The reviews always seem to focus on younger kids. Both are big and I'm willing to pay more for a preferred room at Caribbean Beach Resort so I think is better than Port Orleans Riverside where I could only request a specific area. Which do you think is best for my boys' ages? Thanks! Julie - Sent from my iPod
