Listener Feedback:
This was a really fun show -- LOTS of news!
I apologize in advance for the variable volume on my voice. As usual, I came through too softly -- I've tried to correct it, but you may still need to turn up your volume in places to hear me. I am hoping to get this figured out once and for all for future podcasts. Thanks for bearing with me. Jennifer Marx on March 11, 2010 @ 11:25 am Loved all the News in this weeks podcast! Thanks! Can not wait for the Next one! ChipNDale on March 12, 2010 @ 8:59 pm Loved it! I've actually been to the Japanese Gardens you were talking about, did some work for a photography class there. If you would like the pictures, I can send them along!
I hear ya about the Give a Day, Get a Day. We were trying to get a group together and out of the four organizations I contacted, only one replied back and with a last minute opportunity...so last minute they wanted a group to show up the next day.
Another suggestion for the 6 hour drive: Sesame Place. Great place for those ages, especially if they love Sesame Street. Laughaholic on March 13, 2010 @ 8:17 pm I loved the podcast - it's a shame your guests couldn't make it, but do you know what? It worked just as well with just the two of you. chezp on March 14, 2010 @ 4:00 am I have listened to several podcasts now on my new ipod and loved it. I think it is a wonderful forum and will continue to listen.
I did have one comment about "road trips" Over the years when I lived in south Jersey and drove to WDW with my 2 kids, I got very creative. There is so much to stop and see between home and WDW that I made it a point to try different routes and stop and see the sights along the way. Believe it or not, the kids loved it. This way we built up anticipation along the way down, and there was something to look forward to on the way back. You may take a few extra days to get there and back, but you get to know the states you pass through on the way.
Also, where do you post a question?
Jane Sugarspr on March 15, 2010 @ 6:28 pm Welcome to the PassPorter board Jane! If you want to ask a question to be answered on the podcast just e-mail podcast@passporter.com :thanks: Belle* on March 15, 2010 @ 6:36 pm I just listened to this podcast on my iTouch yesterday while in my car! Great job! :waytogo: lazanya on March 16, 2010 @ 7:40 pm I really enjoyed this episode & thought it worked well without a guest. Waiting for a podcast with Dave, or maybe you could do a episode with PPer dad's and have both your husbands give their opinions in addition to your to see how dad's view trips differently than moms, maybe a special fathers day episode! hockeyguysmom on March 25, 2010 @ 9:51 am Dave will definitely be on a future podcast! My DH... well, hmmmm... that may take some persuading. Belle* on March 25, 2010 @ 10:52 am View all 10 comments about this podcast
